Santa Barbara Wedding Photographer + Officiant
Capturing Your Love Story with Heart and Artistry
YOUR LOVE,
YOUR STORY
Hi, I’m Mayra!
I’m a mom of three, a wife, a photographer, and a bilingual officiant. I’ve been photographing weddings for over a decade, and after getting married myself in 2022, I have an even deeper appreciation for just how quickly a wedding day goes and how important it is to have those memories preserved.
I’m a big believer in the moments that happen in between the perfectly posed ones. The way your partner looks at you when you’re not paying attention, your grandma tearing up during the ceremony, the laughter that takes over the dance floor, and all the little details you spent months planning. Those are the moments I’m always looking for.
My approach is relaxed and genuine. I want you to enjoy your wedding day, not spend it worrying about the camera. I’ll guide you when you need direction, step back when you don’t, and be there to capture the moments you’ll want to remember long after the day is over.
I’m incredibly grateful to have been voted Best of Santa Barbara for three years and to have also been recognized as a finalist. But honestly, one of the greatest parts of this job is the people I get to meet and the stories I get to be trusted with.
When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, planning our next adventure, or probably talking about photography. I love good food, beautiful light, meaningful conversations, and celebrating people exactly as they are.
Whether you’re planning a wedding here on the Central Coast or somewhere across the world, I’d love to hear your story and be part of your day.

WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
I’ve always believed that photographs become more meaningful with time. A wedding gallery isn’t just a collection of beautiful images. It becomes a way to remember how you felt, who was there, and all the little moments you may not have even noticed that day.
As a mom, a wife, and someone who has experienced the whirlwind of planning and living through a wedding day myself, I know how quickly these moments become memories. That’s what makes this work so special to me. I get to preserve the pieces of your story that you’ll come back to again and again.
I love the happy tears, the big laughs, the nervous excitement, the quiet glances, the crazy dance floor moments, and everything in between. I love getting to know my couples and watching their personalities come through in their photographs.
But most of all, I love knowing that years from now, you’ll be able to look at your images and feel it all over again. That’s why I do what I do. Not just to create beautiful photographs, but to create something you can hold onto for generations.
